Before & After Your Visit

Before your Appointment

To make your lash appointment as efficient as possible here are a few directions to follow prior to your appointment!

Come in 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time

You'll be filling out paperwork (or you can request to have them emailed to you and fill them out). In addition, if your lash tech can take you a few minutes earlier, she can!

Be prepared to take a nap

Full lash sets can take anywhere from 2-3 hours (fills can take anywhere from 1-1.5 hours), so make sure you can lay down for that long! Our spa rooms have comfortable heated beds, and we play relaxing music, so we recommend taking a nap!

Come in makeup free, but don't use a makeup wipe!

Make sure to come in makeup-free! However, we don't recommend using a makeup wipe to take off your makeup, as these have oil in them (to take off your makeup easier), which can cause your lashes to fall off easier.

We love contacts too, but...

...remove them before your appointment! They can cause irritation when in contact with lash fumes.

We want our lash tech's focus completely on you & your lashes

Please arrange childcare for children under the age of 12. We do have a comfy waiting room they can relax in if they are over 12 years old. We understand this may be difficult, but we want our lash tech's focus on you, and you only!

We want your experience to be as comfortable as possible...

...so ask questions! You can never have too many. Send us as many emails as you'd like. Request a blanket if you're cold!

After your Appointment

To make your lash appointment as efficient as possible here are a few directions to follow prior to your appointment!

Lash retention is based on a ton of things...

...like your body chemistry, your natural lash cycle, your sleeping position, the weather, and your makeup use.

For the first 48 hours after your appointment do not...

...wash, wet, or expose your lashes to makeup or steam (this is extremely important). During showers, keep the door/window open to let out excess steam.

Make sure to avoid:

oil based products such as: cleansers, mascara, eye cream, or eye makeup remover. Stick to water based products! Also avoid picking, scratching, or plucking out your lashes.

If you can, avoid:

sleeping on your face! The more you sleep on your lashes, the faster they will fall out. If you must sleep on one side, understand that you will experience more lash fall out on that side.

Clean your lashes!

This is essential to keeping your lashes dirt & bacteria free. We recommend Bella Lash deep & daily cleansers, which are available for purchase in-office after your appointment.

& last but not least....

We recommend getting a fill every 2-3 weeks. This is the average time people can go in between fills. Also, allergic reactions (while rare) CAN happen. If they do, contact your primary care physician immediately & give us a call at 909-466-1234 to schedule a lash removal.
